Types of Software Applications

Public-Domain Software
software that has a copyright and donate to the public and not restricted. Any person may copy and distribute it to other people. Example: GNU / Linux.

Freeware 
software that has the copyright and we are free to use but we can not modify it as open source.

Shareware
software that has a copyright and distributed for free to a certain period.

Open Source Software
Dapa software that we use, modification and re-distribute it.

Web-Based Software
 existing software on the website. user or the user can use it from any computer connected to the Internet. Example: e-mail, web browser game, etc.

Custom Software
Software that has a specific function. Typically this software is reserved by a company to the programmer with functions that are commonly used in the company. For example: Application Acceptance of new students, etc.

Packaget Software
Copyright Software that already has most of the required personal or corporate user. Example: Ms.. Office 2007, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
